FOURTH WORLD CONFERENCE ON INTER-RELIGIOUS AND INTER-CIVILIZATION DIALOGUE " MIGRATION AND THE CHALLENGE OF INTEGRATION THROUGH A DIALOGUE BETWEEN RELIGIONS AND CULTURES “
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia and the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Groups within the United Nations and UNESCO Global Agenda for dialogue among civilizations and the Decade of UNESCO, on November 3-5, 2016 in Bitola was held the Fourth World Conference on Inter-religious and Inter-civilizational Dialogue with the main theme “Migration and the Challenge of Integration through Dialogue between Religions and Cultures“. In addition to the main topic, the following plenary sessions were held: “The family – a fundamental source and place for human dignity and growth in the faith” and “Use and misuse of modern ways of electronic communication and social networks (religious orientation)”. The UNESCO Chairs from SEE held a Forum on the topic: “The Views of the UNESCO Chairs from SEE to migration, refugee crises and terrorism as challenges for inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue”. The Fourth Declaration on promotion of inter-religious dialogue, understanding and unity was formally adopted by the Coordinative Body and the International Committee of the Conference.
