THIRD WORLD CONFERENCE ON INTER-RELIGIOUS AND INTER-CIVILIZATION DIALOGUE "FREEDOM AND DIGNITY - BASIC VALUES IN THE INTER-HUMAN, INTER-RELIGIOUS AND INTER-CULTURAL RELATIONS “

The Third World Conference on Inter-Religious and Inter-Civilization Dialogue “Freedom and Dignity – Basic Values in Inter-Human, Inter-religious and Inter-cultural Relations” took place on May 10-12, 2013 in Skopje. The conference, within its program, opened the following topics to the world public: ” Pluralistic Societies and Religious Tolerance “, “Living together by Respecting the Diversities” and “Contribution of the Media to Inter-Religious and Inter-Cultural Dialogue “. Within the conference, a Youth Forum was held on the topic “The Role of Religions in Building Tolerant Youth”. Important Events’ Anniversaries were also organized: 313 AD – 1700 years since Christianity gained its freedom, 70 years from the Holocaust of the Jews and, 10 years from the Regional Summit of Heads of States in SEE Dialogue among Civilisations and the Ohrid Peace Message. The Third Declaration on the Contribution of Religions and Cultures to Peace was adopted.
